A VINTAGE JAPANESE WATERCOLOR AND INK ON SILK SCROLL, SIGNED, CHARACTER MARKS AND RED CIRCULAR SEAL MARK, painted in polychrome colors and showing a long haired maiden wearing traditional robes and strolling beneath the showering petals from blossoming branches of an ancient cherry tree, lower left columnar black ink character mark inscription, over a red circular character seal stamp, within a conforming woven textile border and ending with paper backed neutral silk panels. Height: 40 1/2" Width: 9 3/4"
Condition
Good condition, normal color differences due to environment, age and materials, top end panel has small holes, and the same panel has a black ink five character mark inscription on the revese.
