TERESHKOVA VALENTINA (1937- ) Russian Cosmonaut, the first woman to fly in space on the Vostok 6 mission, 1963 & BYKOVSKY VALERY (1934- ) Russian Cosmonaut, pilot of Vostok 5, 1963. Vintage signed and inscribed postcard photograph by both Tereshkova and Bykovsky individually, the candid image depicting the two cosmonauts standing outdoors in three quarter length poses alongside several Russian military officials wearing their uniforms. Signed by Tereshkova in bold blue fountain pen ink, adding an inscription in Cyrillic in her hand, and signed by Bykovsky in bold black fountain pen ink, with his name alone, both to clear areas of the image and right white border. Together with two different unsigned vintage postcard photographs of Tereshkova and Bykovsky, the images depicting them standing together in full length poses before microphones, both holding flowers, and in one image holding their raised hands together in a jubilant manner.
