Description
A GROUP OF THREE VINTAGE SATIN GLASS FIGURAL PERFUME BOTTLES AND POWDER JAR, CIRCA FIRST HALF 20TH CENTURY, comprising a "847-A" figural perfume flacon, designed by Eisenberg for various perfumers, circa 1938, the heavy glass bottle and stopper molded to represent a stylized bride wearing a tiered wedding gown and holding a floral bouquet with both hands, height: 3 1/2"; a Lilas Blanc miniature figural glass flacon, circa 1930, in the form of a sitting feline with incised fur details and ribbon collar around its neck, stopper in the form of the cat's head, height: 3"; and a Lillian IV satin glass powder jar, circa 1930, in the form of a stylized maiden in a two tiered full skirt under the lid and handle showing her holding a bouquet of flowers with both arms and her head slightly tilted to her left, height: 5". Condition
All in good condition, with no major cracks, breaks, chips, or repairs. The Eisenberg "847-A" bride bottle with a few spots of brown patina, as well as a number of air bubbles and scratches, label missing and base unmarked. The Eisenberg, as well as Lilas Blanc bottles emptied of their original fragrance. Lilas Blanc cat perfume flacon with slightly yellow overall patina, a few very small chips on the bottom end of stopper, as well as a pin-size black ink dot on shoulder, unmarked and lacking gilt paper label around neck as collar. The Lillian IV powder jar with a number of air bubbles, one or two small unfrosted patches, the bottom half with spots of brown patina near base, emptied of powder, unmarked and lacking label.
