A COLLECTION OF SIX ROYAL COPENHAGEN POLYCHROME PAINTED PORCELAIN CAT FIGURES, GREEN AND BLUE MAKER'S MARKS, 20TH CENTURY, each painted in a pastel color palette of pale dusty blues, grays, browns, and white, and with green underglaze crown Royal Copenhagen hallmark underfoot, the collection comprising "Cat," no. 340, circa 1980-1984, originally designed by Erik Nielsen (Danish 1857-1947), sitting graying blue tabby cat looking downward with left paw on curled tail with "EN" embossed monogram on base reversing to an underside stamped "340" alongside a "P," opposite green maker's mark over blue triple wave and painter's uppercase "SM" initials over green "340," height: 7"; "Grey Sitting Cat," no. 1803, circa 1980-1984, originally designed by Andrea Nielsen (Danish 1872-1936), a sitting plain gray cat with white secondary features looking forward with head slightly tilted to its left and reversing to an underside with green maker's mark over blue triple wave alongside painter's uppercase initials "K/T" over green "1803," height: 5 1/2"; "Playful Kitten," no. 727, circa 1980-1984, originally designed by Andrea Nielsen (Danish 1872-1936), a gray feline with white secondary and accent features laying on it's left side with head and both paws up on either side of it's upward curling tail and reversing to an underside stamped "727" under a monogram "R" below green maker's mark over blue triple wave and painter's uppercase initials "K/T" above green "727," height: 2 1/2"; "Siamese Cat," no. 9281, circa 1975-1979, originally designed by Theodor Madsen (Danish 1880-1965), a sitting light beige siamese cat with traditional dark gray markings with head turned to it's left and tail curled around feet and with "TM" embossed monogram on base reversing to an underside stamped "3281" surmounting a faint uppercase "U" above green maker's mark over blue triple wave alongside painter's uppercase initials "T/N" above green "3281," height: 7 1/2"; "Creeping Cat," no. 473, circa 1980-1984, originally designed by Carl Frederik Liisberg (Danish 1860-1909), large white cat with head lowered and concentrating ahead with large green eyes and erect ears reversing to an underside with a green vertical line under the green letter "K" in "DENMARK" over blue triple wave beside illegible blue painter's initials and diagonal line above green "473," height: 4", length: 17 1/2"; "Sleeping Cat," no. 422, circa 1975-1979, originally designed by Erik Nielsen (Danish 1857-1947), a white cat curled up with closed eyes with "EN" embossed monogram on base reversing to an underside stamped "422" over green maker's mark over blue triple wave alongside illegible painter's initials and check surmounting green color code 0 over a horizontal line and "422," the rim embossed "LL," height: 3 1/4".
