TWO AMERICAN SILVER PLATED SERVING WARES, SILVERSMITH MARKS, SECOND HALF 20TH CENTURY, comprising a Rococo Revival Style two handled serving tray of shaped oval form with a molded rim centering a conforming recessed well engraved with "C" scrolls and blossoming foliage, flanked by pierced foliate handles and raised on reticulated foliate feet, enclosing impressed silversmith marks, "EGW&S / EPNS," length: 22 1/4"; together with a circular footed serving dish by the Crescent Silverware Mfg., Co., Port Jervis, NY, with molded rim enclosing a shallow well centering engraved "C" scrolls, shells and scrolling acanthus, raised on stylized shell and paw feet enclosing stamped silversmith marks and "87EF," diameter: 12 1/4".
Condition
Both in good condition, the two handled tray has areas where silver has worn to reveal the base metal throughout, each has normal small marks and scratches as well as some nicks on edge of rim from use.
