Scene of a young woman seated at a desk writing a letter, has nice details and strong color throughout; original canvas signed on the reverse by the canvas supplier "4, Quai Des Orfevres, 4 - A Paris - Donnet - Fabt - De Toiles Pour Tableaux" (c.1868-1883).
