A nice set of antique expanding bookends. The bookends have a great Art Nouveau design with Gargoyle or Dragon heads. They are made of cast iron with a bronze toned finish and the expanding rods are brass. Each decorative end measures 7 1/8" x 5 1/4" and the bookends measure 12 1/4" long When closed and they extend to approximately 21". These are a larger scale set making them perfect for large hard cover books.

No Reserve

The Gargoyle bookends are in very good condition with no chips or cracks in the metal. The only thing to note is some wear the finish which you can see in the photos.
