Description
Royal Copenhagen (Swedish, founded 1775), circa 1924. Porcelain Jardiniére (or vase) with reticulated flared neck, with gargoyle head handles to bulbous body, with blue floral decoration, raised on a circular foot. To underside with green underglaze maker's mark, with three underglaze blue waves, and numbered with "1/1046" (green), "24" (blue). Overall approximate height 9.5", diameter 11". Provenance: From the estate of Richard Wright; whereby acquired by present owner.
Condition
Very good condition overall. Structurally sound with no overt damage or missing elements. Foot with light wear to bottom commensurate with light handling and shelf use, one minor chip on foot--not particularly distracting. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
