A Carved Ivory Card Case. Depicting animals among foliage on the front of the case and figures in a park on the reverse 4.25" x 2.75"

The ivory has yellowed slightly over time and there is light dust buildup to the crevices. To the interior lip, at the back, the ivory is naturally splitting from age. There is a linear 2" vertical hairline spilt but no apparent loss or repairs to this area. The back of the case shows light staining/wear to the perimeter. The upper right edge sustains a .25" chip. This piece is in overall very fine condition
