Description
One of the earliest and historical American fishing tackle catalogs or American angling paper ephemera. Containing 32 pages of illustrations of tackle with its reverse side remaining blank. The interesting fact is there is no text, just illustrations, which is surprising in a day when books and other publications were usually very frugal with illustrations because of cost. The catalog shows not only their line of tackle but in the various sizes offered. Floats, spinners, rod components, creels, reels, spears, balances, Bate Serpentine in 6 sizes, Buel spinners and hooks. In incredible Very Good plus condition with only light edge wear, small tears and light spotting to cover, six inch split along bottom of spine but held tightly together with its string binding. A museum piece.
