Description
Two handwritten and three typed on his personal stationery and two signed "Otto v Keinbusch, with the remainder simply "Otto". Three letters addressed to Tom Collins of Payne Rod Company, a letter accompanying the manuscript for his contribution to the Payne 1952 catalog and another congratulating him on his catalog and was grateful to be a contributor to the project, last letter discusses a certain Payne rod of his that is still at the shop and his wish to use it in the near future and mentions he will be fishing his Garrison on his next trip. The last two letters are to Charles Wetzel, in which he mentions that he is sending information that he might not have for is upcoming bibliography and includes attached a two page handwritten description of "A Defense for Fisherman", 1902. The other letter is a typical one from one collector to another in discussing some titles, advice on how to obtain certain titles and attempting Mr. Wetzel on parting with some of his own titles. Mr. Keinbusch was a member of the Angler's Club of New York and a prominent collector which included sporting books and armor and weaponry. All are Very Good plus or better with usual folds.
