Chinese Export Rose Medallion Porcelain Punch Bowl, third quarter 19th century, decorated with panels of Mandarin figures alternating with panels of peonies and ho ho birds on a gilt ground, h. 6-1/2", dia. 14".

Scattered firing anomalies throughout. An area with an uneven surface on the interior of the bowl with some discoloration and abrasion to the enamels. A chip on the rim that has been re-gilded and a strip along the rim about 2" in length with some inpainting and re-gilding. Wear is consistent with age, material and display.
