Jongkind, in the third person, makes a statement related to one of his painting he is sending by railways post, stating 'The undersigning declares he is sending by the Railways administration services of Holland Belgium to the address of monsieur Martin, rue Mogador nº 20, at the corner of St Nicolas street in Paris, a wooden box identified with the letter J. Containing a painting, oil painted, showing a Dutch landscape. Painting value 200 Francs.' Jongkind adds below his signature his own address. Some overall, minor age wear, few extremely small tears to the edges, pinholes and a stain, none affecting the signature. G £800-1200
