The globular water pitcher with chased repoussé foliate, shell and acanthus leaf decoration, curved handle with conforming decoration and gadrooned spacers, bulbous body with large sweeping leaves in high relief framing central classical women eating grapes and holding staff flanked by horned putto playing pan flute and child playing hand cymbals, raised on rounded ring base, underside monogrammed and dated COI Dec. 9th 1880 TMG.

Nicks to rim, otherwise with surface scratches commensurate with age, polishing, and use.
