Pair of profile likenesses of Enoch Wood (1759-1840) and his wife, both with the written history on the back, "This likeness of Enoch Wood was taken by W. Rapers Pentagraph March 25, 1833 in the Seventy-Forth year of EW's age born Jany 31, 1759. Enoch Wood, Burslem 1833", and "This is a good likeness of my wife, taken by Mr. Raper, March 25, 1833 by means of a good Pentagraph, she was Seventy Four years of age June the first last. Enoch Wood, Burslem, 1833.", both in black and gold highlights, black wood frames with gold/brass liners, acorn top hangers, originally from the Lee Flournoy collection of Sandwich, MA, (note: Enoch Wood was one of the most successful producers of Earthenware and Porcelains in Burslem, England in the 19th c.), 3 1/4" x 2 3/4" (sight), 5 3/4" x 5 1/4" (frame), (ex.
