Pre-Columbian, West Mexican, 300 BCE to 300 CE. This is a group of four red and black slip painted terra cotta bowls from the West Mexican shaft tomb tradition; the colors are complementary together and would make a nice collection! Size of largest: 8" diameter x 5" H (20 cm x 13 cm).
Provenance: Ex-private Olan collection, California, by family descent, acquired 1960 to 1970.
