Round French hand made C.1850-70 walnut side table has removable marble top in brown with hints of grey and lighter brown veining. Surrounded by tiny bronze beadwork. The scalloped apron exhibits small scrolled bronze mounts depicting acanthus leaves on the three sides. Additional mounts at the knees and feet of the hand carved tall cabriole legs. The tri-support structure beneath offers tiny reeded bronze mounts on the top of each with acanthus leaf trim. A larger center bronze finial joins the three supports. The finial was loose due to the original brass nail wearing thin and replaced with a brass screw for stability. The table in excellent condition with wonderful patina to the more than century old walnut. No nicks,scratches or breaks. Measures 31.25 H X 15.5 L X 15.5 D.
