Illustrated title page and 32 pages of the letters of the Aleph Bet, beautifully designed by the artist Ben Zion Zuckerman.
Each letter is decorated with an impressive illustration. A large part of the illustrations include Jewish motifs: Noah's Ark, the Two Tablets of Stone, Menorah and more. Some of the illustrations are signed in print.
Ben Zion Zuckerman (1890-1944) was a well-known Jewish artist. He lived in Vilnius, immigrated to the Land of Israel and lived in Jerusalem during the years 1923-1927, after which he returned to the USSR.
