A large brass steam whistle mounted on a cast iron base. The housing measures 5" in diameter. It has a nice acorn finial. The cylinder measures 7" tall. The base hex nut measures 2 1/2" across so it's probably a 2" opening. There is no control valve. It has a single chamber. It's heavy and disassembles easily. There are loads of threads on the shaft. There are no markings of any kind. We are offering many steam whistles in this auction, all from one collection.

Note that because of the size and weight special packaging will be required. This will mean a delay in our normal shipping schedule to make sure we have double wall boxes and appropriate packing materials.
