Description
An older Pennsylvania Railroad lock made by J. L. Howard in Hartford, Connecticut. Howard locks are not common for any railroad. It has a straight line Howard marking next to the dust cover. It has PRR over and S on the drop.
The included key is a knobby with PRR on the front and "G" a Fraim keystone logo and 580 on the reverse. This is the early Pennsy switch bit. It takes the standard key bit that comes off at 6:00.
