A fine example of an uncleaned Nathan 5 step whistle that has been sleeping in a barn for 40 years. It's heavy.

Basic measurements: 18" total height (14" without top nut and base plumbing). 3 7/8" base feed pipe, 6+" diameter. I tried to measure the distance between 2 fins multiply by 5 and divide by 20 1/2. I did not have a soft tape measure, just a yard stick. Anybody but family members can make fun of my math.

We can ship it but becasue of the weight, it'll require extra time to package.

The basic brass whistle is in good condition. The NATHAN casting across the base has wear to the lettering. The NATHAN casting on the 2nd step is fine. The fins look straight. There is no control device. We have many fine brass whistles in this auction. All from one consignor.

Note that because of the size and weight special packaging will be required. This will mean a delay in our normal shipping schedule to make sure we have double wall boxes and appropriate packing materials. Possible delivery - I'll be at Key Lock & Lantern in Utica in June.
