Bisque shoulderhead with slender oval face, sculpted blonde hair with green painted snood decorated by fancy purple lustre, gilt and white trim with tassel, painted features, blue eyes, eyeliner, arched brows, closed mouth, accented lips, muslin stitch-jointed body with porcelain lower arms and legs, silk faille frock and black beads. Commentary: Circa 1870 doll having finest quality pale bisque, fine detail and sculpting, replacement body; believed to be a portrait of the French Empress Eugenie.
