This white jade snuff bottle with a figure of Zhong Kui is highly polished, lending it an oily gleam on the surface. The inside of the bottle is very well hollowed, showcasing its stunning carving skill.
The stone's natural color variation is sublimated into the composition of the figure. Zhong Kui is carved in relief on the russet color inclusions of the stone. A small bat is found on the other side of Zhong Kui, which is also placed in the stone's faint vein on the top, providing wit in this outstanding snuff bottle.
