Description
LATTICINIO STRIPE FONT KEROSENE STAND LAMP, soft ruby pyriform font with 18 spiraling white stripes creating a cross-hatching style pattern, brass ribbed stem and single-step marble base, No. 2 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a Holmes, Booth & Haydens lip burner, thumbwheel marked "H. B. & HAYDENS PAT. JAN. 24. 1860 / & AUG. 1. 1865.", and a colorless lip chimney. Probably the shop of Nicholas Lutz, Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., or J. Walter & Co., Williamsburg, NY. Circa 1870-1880. 9 1/2" H to top of collar, 4 1/2" SQ base.

Undamaged font, medial with a bubble, as made, marble base with expected flakes/roughness. Burner undamaged, chimney fitter with expected flakes/roughness.
