EMBOSSED LEAF AND SCROLL MINIATURE LAMP, cobalt blue, square-form font with concave medial, beading to shoulder edge and plumes to corners, matching plume embossed ball-form chimney-shade, No. 1 brass collar. Fitted with a period Hornet-type burner. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 8 3/4" H to top of chimney-shade, 4 1/4" H to top of font, 3 1/8" SQ base.

Provenance: The collection of Frank and Karen McWright of Bethel, CT.

Condition

Excellent condition, font undamaged, chimney-shade with a loss to upper rim along with each rim having normal flakes/roughness, most probably as made, body with some minute wear and one panel with a large area of lightly etched squiggles, collar with light denting. Burner undamaged.
