Rare and delightful rearing lion - symbol of Bavaria as well as several other German states - made of sheets of lead, with mane created from numerous cut sheets. Added iron pole supports him in a vertical fashion. This probably once adorned the top of a government shop or public house. A very expressive and large example! Includes custom iron pole. Size: lion itself measures 24" W x 33" H (61 cm x 83.8 cm). Note: Domestic shipping is approximately $175 due to the size and weight of this fantastic sculpture.
