Description
An early 20th century enamel and split pearl choker. The oval-shape central guilloche enamel panel with split pearl surround and concealed push-piece clasp, to the dark blue velvet choker. Length 34cms. Weight 14gms.
Overall fair condition. There are moderate surface scratches to the enamel, these are noticeable but none of them reveal the metal beneath. Many of the split pearls show surface blemishes but are fairly well matched for colour and size. There are moderate surface scratches to the reverse and a small acid mark to one edge. Both parts of the velcro are stuck to one side of the velvet ribbon.
