Conspiracy: The Art as Witness, 1971 Portfolio. The complete portfolio comprising seven lithographs and five screenprints in color on Arches or handmade paper. Each is signed and numbered, edition of 150, with the artist's copyright inkstamp en verso, full sheets, loose as issued. Together with a book, 'Conspiracy: the Art as Witness,' signed and inscribed by Charles Garry, contained in the original canvas covered portfolio box with gilt embossed title. Artists include Jack Beal, Romare Bearden, Alexander Calder, Leon Golub & Nancy Spero, Sol Lewitt, Robert Morris, Claes Oldenburg, Larry Poons, Bridget Riley, Peter Saul, Raphael Soyer, and Frank Stella Album: 29.5" x 22" x 1.75"

The portfolio case is yellowed on the edges, as are the lining papers. Calder: some offsetting of another impression but should clean well. Riley: sheet slightly yellowed at edges. Soyer: sheet darkened within the old mat opening. All others are in fine, clean condition and never hinged. There were probably original acidic mats which have not been saved
