A silver Judean scroll with case, c. 8th - 9th Century AD, well-preserved rolled scroll with Hebrew text, the case with a large Menorah and Hebrew characters. A very nice example of these scrolls, many of which have been read and found to contain 'spells' and other various cryptic messages. L: 1 7/8 in (4.7 cm). This example if one of the better preserved we have encountered! Ex Los Angeles private collection.
