Italian, 19th century. Venetian paint and parcel silver decorated marble top console table having traces of red bole, the rectangular specimen marble top with beveled edge over a bombe form carved and green grey painted wood base headed with C scroll and acanthus scroll carved angles centered by a relief carved panel on plinth base. Approximate height 38", width 35.25", depth 21.75".

Structurally sound. Marble top is in very good condition - no damage noted; very minor surface scratches commensurate with usage. Front and sides of console with areas of horizontal and vertical cracks; areas of shrinkage. There are chips to the carved elements with loss of painted finish to the left side of case. And scattered areas of chipping to the surface.
