French, 20th century. A fine and palatial Louis XV style walnut armoire having a ogee cornice over a twin paneled frieze decorated with carved scallop and rinceau over a set of four double fielded panel doors enclosing two sets of adjustable shelved interiors, each with fixed drawer having removable flatware liner and centered by a foliate carved panel over a twin scroll apron carved with scallop and rinceau raised on squat cabriole legs headed with carved trailing foliate and terminating on scrolled toes. Approximate height 91", width 72", depth 15.5".
