English, late 19th/early 20th century, circa 1900. Large majolica pottery water pitcher with green swan handle, yellow rim on top and bottom, shaped spout, pink glazed interior, exterior with brown and cream feathered standing crane looking at bullrush in shallow pond in green grasses with cattails under green leaves with yellow and pink tips on cobalt blue ground with impressed repeating five-pointed star motif. Unmarked. Overall approximate height 12.25", width (spout to handle) 10.25".
