Pair of Large Silk Panels with Wood Frames.
Both of these elegant cream-colored silk panels are embroidered in hues of blue, white, pink, brown, and black. They depict scenes of a courtyard including people, birds, and plants. In one panel, a warrior is being brought his horse, while a woman and child look on. In the other panel, two men are on a porch while two women are walking through a garden. The panels are housed in thick wooden frames with glass. The embroidered panels are approximately 43 3/4 inches in height and 28 7/8 inches in width. Including the frames, they are approximately 53 3/8 inches in height and 38 5/8 inches in width. Condition: They are in good condition with minor signs of age. The frames are in good condition.
