White Jade Incense Burner with Stand, 1960's - 1970's.
This intricately carved white jade incense burner hangs from a stand with two carved chains and an upper double dragon medallion that fits onto the hook of the wooden stand. The burner is carved and pierced with a geometric design and a central Shou symbol. The lid of the incense burner is in the shape of a lingzhi and detaches for inserting incense. There are two carved dragon handles on either side of the burner and three carved tassels hang from the bottom. The wood stand is carved with a geometric pattern. The jade incense burner is approximately 10 3/4 inches in height and 4 7/8 inches in width. The stand is approximately 16 5/8 inches in height and 7 7/8 inches in width. Condition: It is in good condition with one small crack in the center of the incense burner where the lid inserts.
