Description
A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN LIDDED JARS, OVERGLAZE RED MARK, each of bulbous form and sides centering two maidens seated in a wheeled chair pushed by an attendant youth, greeting a nobleman on horseback with his attendant youth carrying a sak suspending supplies, beneath a ruyi banded collar and short neck, reversing to an underside with overglaze red four character mark, surmounted by a similarly decorated domed lid, each raised on circular carved wood stands. Height: 5 3/8" Diameter: 5 1/4"
Condition
Good condition, some normal minor surface scratches, a few small areas of enamel flaking, ruyi collar on one jar unfinished.
