Description
A VICTORIAN ROSEWOOD BANJO FORM BAROMETER, SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY, with a turnip form crest centering a circular glass window above a stylized baluster form neck enclosing an arched rectangular silvered thermometer dial with glass vial, over a convex glass panel on an engraved and silvered barometer dial with blued cut steel hands, above a conforming base with a "WARRANTED CORRECT" circular dial, painted gold scrolling foliate trim throughout. Height: 37" Width: 10 1/4" Depth: 1 1/2"
Condition
Good antique condition, normal surface buildup, minor marks and small scratches, age cracks, silvered dials with areas of tarnish throughout.
