Italian, 19th century. Pair of large carved and giltwood candle prickets with weathered green patinated ridged iron mounted candle cup and wax guard above leaf tip borders on a tapered shaft with gadrooned and turned support on a tripartite base with scrolled feet and leaf motif. Unmarked. Overall approximate height 35.75", diameter at top 6.25".
