This beautiful emerald pendant was manufactured in Germany around 1960. The center of this classical creation is captured by a green emerald that is framed with numerous brilliants. Five little brilliants create a floral element at the top of the pendant.
Condition:
The pendant is in very good condition and shows only few traces of wear. The Columbian emerald weighs c. 11.30 carat, the 47 brilliants weigh c. 1.3 carat in a total. The purity mark ‘750‘ is located verso at the top of the pendant. The overall dimensions are 3.5 x 2.2 cm. The total weight is 14.2 grams. The beautiful piece of jewelry comes with a gemological expertise from October 2014.
All gemstones were examined by us in mounted condition using different gemmological devices. If there is a certificate or an external gemmological report available it is stated in the description.
It has been common and accepted practice for hundreds of years to enhance color and clarity of colored gemstones by the use of different treatments. Only if such a treatment can unequivocally be excluded the gemstones are stated as “untreated”. (Not applicable to diamonds)
