Collection of Three Ancient Persian Faience Bead Necklaces. Including a wrapped necklace of ancient Parthian faience beads with a circular faience pendant, colors are bright turquoise blue and a dark blue more resembling lapis lazuli, beads date to about 2,000 years ago in the Persian empire; a three strand necklace of small fine ancient Parthian faience beads from the Persian Empire circa 2,000 years ago, glazes are sky blue to resemble turquoise, back of the necklace is crown knotted with a macrame button and loop closure together with a necklace of ancient Parthian faience beads and amulets, dating from circa 2,000 years ago. A few of the elements appear to be Egyptian, from the Roman Period.
