Patek Philippe 1956's 18Kt YG Wristwatch. This is a men's rare 18Kt YG waterproof Patek Philippe Wristwatch Ref 2483, circa 1956, Case 674803, Movement 938.660. The watch features a two piece 18Kt YG circular "Calatrava" waterproof case with a screw down back measuring 36.00MM x 41.00MM lug to lug. The watch still shows strong Swiss hallmarks on the side of case and on the back of the lugs. it is attached to a sectional yellow and rose gold brick link band (NOT Patek Philippe) that measures 7 1/4". It terminates with a folding chevron clasp. The watch has a high grade Swiss Patek Philippe Cal. 12-400 nickel-finished lever movement stamped twice with the seal of Geneva (which means this was the highest quality movement available at the time). It has an 18 jewel mono-metallic compensation balance, micrometer regulator, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions that is in excellent running condition. It is topped with the original metal dust cover and it has the original mint condition silver painted dial with applied baton numerals and sub-seconds. It is signed "Patek Philippe".
