Description
Under-glazed blue and white vase, porcelain, in hexagonal shape, with bulbous stomach, tapered long neck and flaring mouth, decorated with fruit boughs of pomegranates, peaches, persimmons, alternating with floral branches of peonies, chrysanthemums and lotuses, divided by arabesques and lotus sprays, having Greek key scroll on mouth and foot rims. Buddihist Seven-Ruyi pattern, key fret and baroque cartouches around shoulder, with under-glazed six-character Qianlong reign mark on base, provenance information on bronze plaque, 26" h.
