(lot of 2) American silver plate service trays, comprising: (1) Wallace "Baroque" presentation tray, center inscribed "George Christian, President, Headliners Club, 1974," approx 22.25"l, 15"w; (1) large Poole Silver waiter tray in the "Old English" pattern, scrolled foliate and shell incised center, approx 27"l, 17.5"w; 13.5lbs total *Provenance: From the estate of Jo Anne Christian (Texas, 1936-2015), a lifelong collector of friends, paintings, jewelry, books and other beautiful things, was known for her love of color and her support for the arts. As one of the Three J's--the three women who founded Austin's Long Center for the Performing Arts--Mrs. Christian made an indelible mark on Texas' Capital City. Jo Anne Christian was the widow of George E. Christian Jr. (Texas, 1927-2002), press secretary to President Lyndon Baines Johnson. She was an attorney, an avid historian, a voracious reader and an inveterate theatergoer.*
