Spanish Renaissance Style Carved Elm and Oak Refectory Table, 19th c. and later, the rectangular top with two long side leaves opening to an interior with decorative steel strap hinges over pull out supports, above a wide skirt on a trestle base with turned tapered legs joined by a flat H-form stretcher, Closed- H.- 30 in., W.- 70 3/4 in., D.- 19 3/4 in., Open- D.- 38 7/8 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. Mild wear is noted to the finish, with some white spots noted to the interior top. Some scratches, chips, and gouges are observed mostly to the outermost top with noted edge chips near one end. The base has some expected scratches, wear to the finish and areas of white colored residue are observed on the skirt. An unusual example. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
