Description: Leather-covered barrel with brass-mounted end in form of ship's wheel, which rotates to change image viewed, brass bezel stamped G.G. Bush & Co. Providence. R.I. / Patent Reissued Nov. 11 - 1873, dia. 3.5 in. x 10.25 in. Mounted on a mahogany column with 6.5 in. diameter turned mahogany base, total height 14 in. Barrel is filled with colored glass canes and geometric shaped pieces.

History: G. G. Bush also published a book on Harvard The First University as well as Yale articles of history.
