Description
Description: (1) Small Queen Anne style base with platter inset as its top. The platter is probably English in manufacture, with a central family crest, and a pale blue rim containing four cartouches of pheasants. It has a gilded edge along the outer rim and a border of gilded snowdrops and scrollwork along the inner rim. The frame is mahogany with cabriole legs, topped with acanthus leaves and ending in padded feet and was custom made to hold the platter.
