Sixteen years later, the sight of this gorgeous symbol of the Yankees victory is still sure to wound a vanquished Mets supporter, and the ostentatious sparkle of a diamond-packed face is certain to catch an envious eye. They form a logo "NY" atop a blue stone, with raised text at the perimeter asserting "2000 World Champions."  Left shank pictures the famous Yankee Stadium facade and the bat and hat logo above the word, "Pride."  Right shank supplies the surname of the front office worker to whom the ring was issued above images of the World Series trophy and a Yankee Stadium aerial view with the word "Tradition."  Interior band is stamped "Balfour 14K," assuring the ring is identical to those earned on the field of play by Jeter, Rivera and the boys.
