Comprising six oban prints from the series Wakan nazorae Genji (Japanese and Chinese Comparisons for the Chapters of Genji): one depicting Chichibu Shoji Shigetada carrying his blindfolded horse down the steep hill, alluding to Chapter 1, Kiritsubo (Paulownia Court); one depicting Raiko preparing to kill the Earth-Spider from Chapter 19, Usugumo (Wisps of Cloud); one with Yamatotakeru-no-mikoto on burning grass from Chapter 27, Kagaribi (Flares); one with scenes form Chapter 42, Nionomiya (His Perfumed Highness), depicting Mega Magosaburo defending the gateway amid arrows; one with Chinese hero Wu Song overcoming a tiger with his bare hands, alluding to Chapter 48, Sawarabi (Early Ferns); and one depicting Nogi Nyudo Raigen paddling with a naginata, from Chapter 51, Ukifune (Boat on the Water); each signed and framed
