9th century AD. A pair of pseudo-solidii copying the solidus of Constantinople mint struck 867-886 AD; to the obverse +IhS XPS REX REGNANTIUM legend with Christ, nimbate, enthroned facing, raising right hand and holding book of gospels; to the reverse bASILOS ET COnSTAnT AVGG b legend with crowned facing busts of Basil with short beard and wearing loros on left and Constantine, unbearded, wearing chlamys on right, holding patriarchal cross between them.
