1st century BC. A D-section gold hoop with expanding shoulders supporting a flared plaque with inset nicolo depicting a standing nude female with flowing mantle drinking from a shell. Part of an important collection of jewellery formed by a Mayfair, London, UK, gentleman, during the 1980s. Supplied with a positive X-Ray Fluorescence metal analysis certificate. Cf.
