Signed "Executed by David Davidson, Baltimore, November 18, 1858. this Calligraphic specimen including the first two chapters of the book of the prophet Jonah. Is most respectfully dedicated to Henry D. Mears, agent Boston steamer". Words forming a steamship in water. Image 4-1/2" x 6-5/8"; in a period gilt molded frame, 6" x 8" overall. Condition: Good with fading.
